The house was beautifully decorated with elegant period furniture, creating a charming and cozy atmosphere. I loved spending time in the lounge, which doubled as a breakfast room, with its access to the garden. It was a delight to relax there, enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The hotel was also easily accessible for senior people, with well-lit hallways and spacious rooms, making it comfortable for us to navigate and move around.
It would have been even better if the children working there had organized some activities specifically tailored for senior guests. A few organized excursions or social gatherings would have been wonderful for us to meet and connect with other like-minded travelers.

Our hosts at Au Fil De L'Aulne were so kind and couldn't do enough for us in their beautiful home. Breakfast was delicious, with homemade yoghurts, jams, cakes, and pancakes. The coffee was especially good. The location was perfect for the jazz Fest, as everything was nearby. The bed was really comfy, ensuring a great night's sleep. We also enjoyed the guest lounge, where we had access to a kettle with tea or coffee, and the beautiful garden.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The rooms at Au Fil De L'Aulne are just incredible! I stayed in a double room and it felt like a little slice of heaven. The cozy tea/coffee maker made mornings extra special.
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the sauna in the double room. But hey, maybe others will love it!
